How to prepare an ATS-readable CV

Applicant tracking systems organise and search applications. The reliable strategy is to present real experience using clear language and a file whose text remains readable.

Use job language honestly

Identify tools, responsibilities and outcomes in the vacancy. Include them only when they describe experience you can support with evidence.

Make extraction predictable

Use familiar section headings, keep dates near roles and avoid using graphics as the only source of important information.

Treat scores as review signals

An ATS score can identify missing context or formatting risks, but it cannot guarantee an interview. Correct the issues and then reread the CV as a person would.
